Zahi Hawass, kepala ilmuwan / arkeolog berhasil mengklaim berhasil menemukan kuburan milik Kleopatra, ratu Mesir yang diperebutkan banyak bangsawan Roma.
Penemuan kuburan ini didapatkan di kuil yang bernama Taposiris Magna, 28 mil dari Aleksandria. Walaupun tidak secara jelas didapatkan mayat mengenai Kleopatra, namun arkeolog ini berspekulasi bahwa kuburannya berada di antara reruntuhan yang ada di kuil tersebut.
Untuk lebih lanjutnya, Zahi Hawass berharap dapat pula menemukan kuburan milik kekasih Kleopatra yaitu Mark Anthony. Tim ini beranggotakan 12 orangarkeolog dan bagi para reporter, ini merupakan penemuan terbesar abad 21.
